SCULT is an International Sport Volunteers Movement, connecting bright-eyed volunteers at all ages, sport event organisers and sport clubs locally and internationally. We are now accepting nominations for this year’s SCULT Awards, see: https://www.scult.com/en/awards.

The SCULT Awards Gala will take place on November 3rd, 2017, at the Sport Friends and Volunteers Inspiration Day SCULT Fest 2017, taking place at the Tallinn University, Estonia; see: https://www.scult.com/en/scult-fest/2017. This Award Gala includes light refreshments and musical entertainment.

The evening celebrates volunteer contributions for 2017 and it has three following categories:

• SCULT World Sport Volunteer of the Year - awarded to the best sport volunteer in the world. Gender-neutral; no age limit.
• SCULT World Sport Organiser of the Year - awarded to the best sporting event organizer in the world, especially from the perspective of sport volunteers engagement, management and motivating.
• SCULT Crazy Award - awarded to the craziest / funniest sport related achievement or performance of the year in the world. The winner can be an individual, a team, a brand, or an organisation.

If you would like to make a nomination for one of the categories above, please send the information listed below by October 20th to the e-mail address world@scult.com.

Guidelines for submitting a nomination:

1. Name, age, e-mail and phone number of the candidate.
2. Which award category is the candidate nominated for?
3. Give a short overview (3-5 sentences) of achievements and background / history of the candidate.
4. Point out reasons for nomination (explain with up to 5 sentences why does the candidate deserve recognition).
5. Additional information about the candidate (links to photos, articles, videos etc.)
6. Profile photo of the candidate (up to 2 MB).
7. Name and contact information of the person and organisation submitting the nomination.

Please ensure we have the correct contact details for the nominee.

The winners are selected by an international sport experts panel by summing up individual expert scores. Winners are awarded a hand-made SCULT Award metal plate, designed by Jaakko Matsalu. Three nominees in each category receive a framed recognition letter for their contribution to sport and society.
